Involvement with Push-up Challenge Mental Health Fundraiser
Being a programmer for mental health social clubs at CMHA Halifax-Dartmouth and having my own lived experience with mental health, the Push-up Challenge Mental Health Fundraiser is deeply important to me. Having witnessed firsthand the struggles many face when it comes to mental well-being, I understand how crucial it is to create spaces where individuals can receive support, share their experiences, and access the resources they need. Through my work with mental health social clubs, I’ve seen the impact that community and support networks can have on someone's mental health journey.
Mental health is not just a personal issue—it’s a societal one. Fundraisers like this play an essential role in providing tangible support for those who need it, and being part of this effort is my way of giving back and helping ensure that others don’t feel alone in their struggles.
I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 18 days to raise awareness and funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association. Please support me as I #pushforbetter from February 11-28.
All proceeds help the Canadian Mental Health Association to support mental illness recovery and foster positive mental health in Canada.
