About My Challenge - My Story

In 2024 I was challenged physically and emotionally with several health issues, and during the last three months of that year I started running (a huge shout-out to the "Couch-to-5k" app!) to increase my physical fitness and help boost my immunity.

While I knew that physical fitness can help with mental health, I had no idea what a difference it would make!

Whether through myself or my family, my life has been touched by addictions, PTSD, self-harm, suicidal ideation, anxiety, depression, and death through overdose.  This year I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 18 days to raise awareness and funds for CMHA Peel Dufferin. Please support me as I #pushforbetter from February 11-28.


All proceeds help the Canadian Mental Health Association to support mental illness recovery and foster positive mental health in Canada.
