About My Challenge
Our eldest son has struggled with mental health challenges for many years. Two years ago this peaked from bullying, unhealthy peer relationships and past trauma. He reached an incredible low, and despite our efforts to keep lines of communication open, we had no idea how low.
Upon finding out the severity days before Christmas, we reached out to his GP, our hospital system and psychologists who were all there for him, and us.
Ethan has been on a journey that has seen him come through with far better tools, awareness, maturity and joie de vivre. We're so proud.
So many people struggle in silence. To those that do, there are people here to support you. Sometimes you have to look, but we're here. To those supporting those in need, we're here for you too.
I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association. Please support me as I #pushforbetter in February.
All proceeds help the Canadian Mental Health Association to support mental illness recovery and foster positive mental health outcomes in Canada. Every push up is for Ethan, and the others that are struggling.
Dedicated to: Ethan, and all those struggling with their own mental health challenges.
