About My Challenge
In February, our Team is taking part in The Push-Up Challenge, not only to test our physical strength, but also to raise awareness about the mental health challenges that first responders face every day. As students in police and paramedic programs, we are learning the importance of supporting one another through tough times, both physically and mentally. The pressures of the job, the trauma we witness, and the emotional toll can sometimes feel overwhelming, but we’re committed to building resilience in all aspects of our lives. This challenge symbolizes the strength we develop by pushing through difficulties, both in our bodies and in our minds. We’re doing this to remind ourselves and others that it's okay to ask for help and that mental health is just as important as physical health in the work we do. Together, we rise above the challenges, one push-up at a time.
We are challenging ourselves to complete a heap of push-ups between February 11-28, 2025 to push for better mental health outcomes in Canada.
You can help us push for better mental health in Canada by joining us or donating to our team.
All proceeds go to the Canadian Mental Health Association to support mental illness recovery and foster positive mental health outcomes in Canada.
