About My Challenge
I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 18 days (February 11-28) to raise awareness and funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association. The 2,000 push-ups represents the ~2,000 lives lost to suicide each day, worldwide.
I’ve been working as a Psychologist for over a decade, sitting face-to-face each day with people navigating mental health challenges. The Push-Up Challenge is a unique way to raise awareness about the importance of mental well-being and show up as a support for those around us. I'm taking this on to help with shedding light on mental health and suicide while also challenging myself physically.
My primary purpose is to raise awareness but if you'd like to donate, all proceeds help the Canadian Mental Health Association to support mental illness recovery and foster positive mental health in Canada.
