Dollar Match Day FAQs
How does Dollar Match Day work?
It’s easy. All donations made to your individual page on Wednesday February 19 from 12noon EST will be matched dollar for dollar by Stantec until 11:59pm the same day – or until the $50,000 runs out. Very, very exciting! Each donation will be matched to the same value as the original donation, and the matched amount will contribute to CMHA advocacy, programs and services.
So, a $50 donation becomes $100. A $100 donation becomes $200. You get the gist. All matched donations will appear on your fundraising page the next day.
So be quick – let your friends, family and workmates know now. This opportunity is good as gold.
When does Dollar Match Day start and end?
Dollar matching starts on Wednesday February 19 at 12noon EST and ends at 11.59pm EST the same day, or until the $50,000 cap is reached.
What can I do to share the news about Dollar Match Day?
Tell everyone about Dollar Match Day. Share your fundraising page to prompt donations. You can do this via email, socials, telephone, word-of-mouth, or carrier pigeon, whichever you like! Or donate to yourself to get things started. We’ve got some dollar matching resources ready to go further up on this page.
Are all donations matched?
The first $50,000 worth of donations made directly to a participant’s individual fundraising page (not to Team or Community pages) will be dollar matched, until the funds run out.
Do Facebook Fundraiser donations qualify for dollar matching?
Unfortunately not. Only donations made directly to an individual fundraising page on The Push-Up Challlenge website can qualify for dollar matching.
Remember to share your fundraising page link to ask for donations.
How much is being matched?
Stantec is making this Dollar Match Day possible by generously matching up to the first $50,000 worth of donations made on February 19 from 12pm EST and before 11.59pm EST. Matched donation amounts will contribute to advocacy, programs and services of CMHA National.
Will matched donations show on my page straight away?
Your matched donation(s) will appear on your individual fundraising page by the end of the day on February 20, 2025.
