March 10, 2021 changed my family forever. My little sister, Katia, took her life by suicide. I am doing this challenge in her honor. I will never see or speak to my sister in person again, but I do see her. I see her in the clouds, the heart shaped clouds she leaves in the sky, I see her in the lady bug that follows us literally everywhere, even up mountains. 444 will always be a sign that Kat is around and sometimes I'll just randomly get a shiver or shed a tear and I think of her. My son still talks about her all the time, my daughter never got to meet her auntie Katia. I know we can't undo what's happened, but we can push to make a better future, and that's what we are doing. Raising awareness for suicide prevention & mental health.
Kickass For Kat had a donation goal and we have already passed it, and it's not even February! But it doesn't stop here! Let's see how far we can take this, how much we can raise for the CMHA And Suicide Prevention!
I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association. Please support me as I #pushforbetter in February.
All proceeds help the Canadian Mental Health Association to support mental illness recovery and foster positive mental health outcomes in Canada.
