Dallan Adair

Father, Friend, Supporter!

I'm completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association. Please support me as I #pushforbetter in February.

All proceeds help the Canadian Mental Health Association to support mental illness recovery and foster positive mental health outcomes in Canada.

Now that you've read the generic welcome I will tell you why I joined this fundraiser and why I feel this is an important cause.

Personally I've been struggling with Mental Health issues for over 10 years which is something that is hard to admit, especially for a guy. Depression and anxiety have been at the forefront of my battles, I've tried different medications, reading, and getting active which have all helped me in some ways but at the end of the day I still suffer from these things. Being open with people about my past/present struggles is hard but opening up to people helps in knowing your not alone. There are many resources available to everyone who may or may not be struggling with mental health, the more awareness and understanding we have the better we are able to help those that need it.
